Colleen Flanigan

Marketing Specialist
Colleen Flanigan founded The Flanigan Company, an entertainment and arts marketing consulting agency, in 2022. Since then, she has worked with Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Teatro Vista Productions, ACT Contemporary Theatre, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Boston Lyric Opera Nashville Rep, Chicago Opera Theater, Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Opera Omaha, and Teatro ZinZanni Chicago. Colleen began her arts management career over 25 years ago in the box office at Michigan State University's Wharton Center while an undergraduate there - go Green! She continued her career in Chicago leading marketing, PR, and sales at the Goodman Theatre (Director of Advertising & Sales), Chicago Opera Theater (Director of Marketing and PR), and the historic Auditorium Theatre (Chief Marketing Officer). Colleen regularly volunteers her time in the community and currently sits on the Marketing Taskforce of the Chicago Loop Alliance’s Loop Arts District initiative, and serves on the Board of Deeply Rooted Dance Theater as their Development and Marketing Committee Chair.
Amanda Cantlin
Marketing Specialist
Amanda Cantlin is a freelance marketing and communications consultant, working with a variety of nonprofit organizations in education and performing arts on special projects, interim staffing, and marketing strategy. Areas of expertise include copywriting, content development & art direction, project management, process development & implementation, advertising planning and analysis, and digital marketing strategy. Current and former clients include Navy Pier, La Jolla Playhouse, Long Wharf Theatre, ACT Contemporary Theatre, Third Coast Percussion, The Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference, San Diego Theatres, and A Noise Within. Formerly, she held marketing leadership positions at Victory Gardens Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and the University of Chicago Graham School. She received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Marketing, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Managerial & Organizational Behavior, and General Management; as well as a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago. She joined the Flanigan Company in 2024 as a marketing specialist.
